Reflection

Reflecting on the use of various digital tools in my learning journey, I've come to appreciate the immense value they bring to understanding complex concepts. One such tool is GeoGebra, which has revolutionized how I approach mathematical problems. GeoGebra's dynamic geometry, algebra, and calculus applications allow me to visualize and manipulate mathematical objects in real time. This interactive experience has deepened my comprehension of abstract concepts, making them more tangible and easier to grasp. For instance, by adjusting parameters and observing the resulting changes in geometric shapes or functions, I can see the immediate impact of these modifications, which is incredibly enlightening.


Simulations have also played a crucial role in enhancing my learning experience. By recreating real-world scenarios in a controlled, virtual environment, simulations offer a unique way to explore and understand phenomena that would be difficult, dangerous, or impossible to observe directly. Whether it’s simulating the movement of planets in a physics class or modeling ecological systems in biology, these tools provide a hands-on approach to learning. They allow me to experiment with variables, observe outcomes, and develop a deeper understanding of the underlying principles governing these systems. This active engagement is far more effective than passive learning and helps solidify my knowledge.


Google Earth is another invaluable tool that has broadened my perspective on geography and beyond. It offers a detailed, interactive map of the world that I can explore from the comfort of my home. Through Google Earth, I have virtually visited historical sites, explored different ecosystems, and even analyzed urban development patterns. This tool has been particularly useful in understanding the spatial relationships and geographical context of various locations. It has enhanced my ability to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, providing a more comprehensive learning experience. By integrating these tools into my studies, I feel more equipped to tackle complex topics and develop a more holistic understanding of the world around me.


How to use Geo gebra

-1. Go to https://www.geogebra.org/

2. Login with your gmail.com 3. Then click on calculator menu, select the graphic calculator option, https://www.geogebra.org/graphing 4. Draw two points A and B using the New Point tool 5. Draw the line segment AB using the segment between Two Point tools 6. From A draw a circle through B using the Circle with center through a Point tool 7. From B draw a circle through A using the Circle with Center through a Point tool
8. Find one intersection C of the Two circles Using the Intersect Two Object tool

9. Click on move icon and select the circle A then, followed by show and hide object and click on show and hide level. Repeat same step for circle B. 10. After getting the equilateral triangle, click on save icon to save the image.
